Castleroy Golf Club is situated three miles from Limerick on the N7 to Dublin. It's an 18-hole parkland course which is renowned for its superb condition. The majority of fairways are lined by mature trees, so you need to be hitting the ball straight here or you could find yourself in a bit of bother. It's an excellent test from start to finish and, like every good course, the closing stretch is particularly demanding. The course measures 6348 yards and has a par of 71. Visitors are welcome on weekdays, though it is advisable to phone first as there are some restrictions. Caddies can be arranged, while the superb facilities include a practice ground and putting green.
