While County Meath (Trim) Golf Club has been in existence since 1898, it has had a chequered existence over the past 100 or so years, closing on two occasions due to lack of interest. Since the club re-opened in 1968 at Newtonmoynagh, however, it has never looked back. It's a parkland course which measures 6712 yards - it has a par of 73, one more than the standard scratch. The club offers first-class facilities, including changing rooms and practice ground - while there's a restaurant and bar if you want to relax after your round. Visitors are welcome though the club prefer for bookings to be made in advance.
