This nine-hole course is part of Rockwell College, which was founded in 1864 by the Holy Ghost Congregation as a Catholic Secondary School for boys. Today, the school educates 500 students aged from 12 to 18 years, both boarders and day boarders, boys and girls, with a distinct international dimension. Rockwell is situated 7km from Cashel on the main Cork-Dublin road in Co Tipperary. The golf course is set in the wooded grounds of the college and is mainly used by students for competitions and coaching. But visitors are welcome to play, too, and it's the perfect place for a game if you want a fun game of golf without having to fork out a lot of money.
