This course in County Tipperary is well worth a visit. It was opened in 1969 and is a superb parkland layout. The course, which measures 6348 yards and plays to a par of 71, crosses the River Suir on two holes - the eighth and 16th - and sees water come into play at seven holes in all. You'll do well, then, to complete a round here without getting wet! Many people pick out the seventh as the best hole on the course and it's Stroke 1 on the card. It's a 440-yard par-4 and you'll do well to find the fairway from the tee.
A new clubhouse opened in 2000 and it houses excellent facilities for both members and visitors alike.
