Course Description

Founded in 1922, this is a delightful parkland course located in the beautiful surroundings of County Mayo. It is always kept in supreme condition and is a real test of golf - even after local favourites Belmullet, Enniscrone and Westport golf clubs.

Swinford is well noted for its fast greens and strategically placed bunkers and good positioning from the tee is paramount if you are to get anywhere near to matching your handicap.

Some of the approach shots can be a little tricky to club and you have to be fairly accurate on your approaches to have any chance to putting together a good card.
