This nine-hole course lies three miles west of Ballaghaderreen in Co Roscommon. It was founded in 1937 and, set in mature parkland, it is a very pleasant place for a game of golf. Accurancy is essential off the tee and it's the same when you reach the other end at holes as the greens are not only small but they're well-guarded, too. The club has excellent facilities - there's a putting green and practice area, too, - and visitors can definitely expect the warmest of welcomes here. Make sure you pop into the clubhouse and hear the crack after your round. It will just make your visit here all the more memorable.
