Lurgan Golf Club was established in 1893 and initially consisted of nine holes in the Brownlow area. In 1970, the course was extended to 18 holes and has matured into a challenging parkland course bordering Lurgan Lake. This Frank Pennink design is a well-wooded course of medium difficulty with plenty of doglegs to keep on you on your toes. At well over 6, 000 yards it is suited to long hitters but that doesn't mean the average golfer can't play to their handicap.
Many developments have been undertaken in recent times to enhance the course and clubhouse, and the club is now perfect for a day's golf amid superb surroundings.
