Garron Tower Golf is located at St MacNissi's College, a Catholic grammar school about 20 miles north of Larne. The golf course nestles beside a wooded area to the south of the college, near where Garron Tower's original owner's dog is buried! The parkland course opened for play in 1968 and has been a popular hideout with beginner golfers as well as more serious players.
The views in this part of Ireland are very special. This is where the 'Nine Glens of Antrim' is located, an area of outstanding beauty with its rugged coastlines, woodlands, rivers, waterfalls and wildlife. It is quite fitting that a golf course should be included in the area.
