Balcarrick Golf Club, which lies 25km north of Dublin, was founded in 1972. It's a parkland course which has water on ten of the 18 holes, so you'll do well to get round without seeing your ball getting wet. It measures just under 7000 yards and has both a par and SSS of 73.
According to the majority of people who have played the course, the eighth, 12th, 14th and 17th are the pick of the holes at Balcarrick. The eighth is picturesque as well as being tough. A dogleg to the right, it enjoys superb views across the Bay of Malahide. Visitors are always welcome here and, in addition to value for money, you can expect the warmest of welcome, both on the course and back in the clubhouse.
