Course Description

Kenmare Golf Club was founded in 1903. It was originally a nine-holer but was extended to 18 holes in 1993 by Eddie Hackett.

Whilst the course can be very exacting for a good player, it is never unfair to the higher handicapper. The early holes stretch along the picturesque Roughty river estuary, while the rest of them enjoy provide panoramic views of Kenmare Bay and the Roughty Valley. The course is just a two-minute walk from Kenmare town with its many fine hotels, guest houses and restaurants. Clubs and motorised buggies are available for hire while you can also get the services if a caddie if you make a request for one in advance.
