This course is situated one-and-a-half miles north-west of the town of Ballinamore alongside Shannon/Erne waterway in County Leitrim. It was designed by Dr Arthur Spring and is a challenging nine-hole parkland course. It measures just over 6000 yards and the test is made more difficult on some of the holes by the aforementioned canal. But don't despair if your ball goes in the water . . . plenty of others have come a cropper, too! Visitors are welcome here, though it is better to check in advance if you are paying a weekend visit as there are some restrictions on a Saturday and Sunday. It's excellent value for money and, after you've finished, you'll want to pop into the bar for a refreshment and something to eat from the choice of snacks on offer.
