Course Description

The members of Fortwilliam have the luxury of a wonderful golf course and a rather grand clubhouse. Offering views over the Belfast Lough, Fortwilliam's clubhouse is the perfect setting for a little respite after 18 holes. Founded in 1891, Fortwilliam provides a sterling test to the visitor, one that is sure to be remembered for a long time.

Like many great Irish courses Fortwilliam serves up stunning views from all of its holes, with the Cave Hills granting a beautiful backdrop to many parts of the course. Although not a long course, it provides a good test of golf as most holes have narrow tree-lined fairways and small difficult-to-read greens.
