Hollywood Lakes is located on the outskirts of Ballyboughal village, in north Co. Dublin, only 20 minutes' drive from Dublin Airport. Consequently, it is ideally located for golfers travelling from abroad.
Designed by Mel Flanagan, who made major improvements last year, this 18 hole parkland golf course measures 6, 890 yards from the championship tees and includes a 605-yard par five and comprises a par of 72. Currently their are 11 lakes and water features that sees water impact on nine of the 18 holes. Combine this element of the design with a multitude of trees and it is easy to see where the challenge emanates from.
