Hermitage Golf Club is an undulating and challenging parkland course, with the River Liffey a prominent feature on a number of holes.
There are many natural hazards and surprises for those golfers who tend to lend themselves to the odd errant shot from the tee. Be warned, bring your straightest driving or you could suffer round here. The course is well maintained and the par fives will test your long irons. Well-placed bunkers protect the shorter holes, so accuracy is all but a necessity. The parkland-style course was founded in 1905 as a nine-holer but was later extended to its full capacity by the prolific course designer, Eddie Hackett.
