This parkland course, with the Comeragh Mountains on one side and the Suir Valley on the other, was famously described by a leading German golf writer as one of Europe's finest nine-hole courses. The club was founded in 1939 but has been extended to 18 holes since then. It is now a tough 6, 631-yard par 73 course that's capable of testing the very best.
With its scenic backdrop visitors will find this Eddie Hackett design a very pleasant and memorable experience. The town of Carrick on Suir is right on the border between Tipperaray and Waterford with the border running through the town.
