Ardminnan is one of those golf courses that, on arrival, you probably didn't know existed but were delighted to find it alive and well! It is a splendid nine-hole layout located in an area of natural beauty, situated close to the sea and adjacent to Silver Bay Caravan Park.
It covers an area of around 45 acres with a total length of just over 3, 000 yards. The course features two gradual hills and a river with two ponds coming into play on six of the holes.
Frank Ainsworth, who also supervised its construction, professionally designed the course and it opened for the public's enjoyment in 1995.
